Split the pie
Know your walk-away point and theirs before you bargain: the deal lies between them.
5 minutes · trains Value and bid · points only, never money
Five negotiations, each over 100 points, against bots that bargain in different styles. Each side knows what it gets if there is no deal. Try to end with more than your walk-away points add up to.

Each round you and a bot split 100 points. Offers go back and forth, 4 at most in all. Either side can accept the other's offer. If there is no deal, each side gets its walk-away points instead: what it can get elsewhere.
You always know your own walk-away. In some rounds you also get a rough idea of the bot's.
Try it yourself
You have a firm job offer of 900,000 a year. A second firm, which you like about as much, offers 850,000 and says that is its limit. What do you do?
3 questions, a minute or two. Nothing to finish first.
